O partypoker anunciou nesta sexta-feira (20) a criação do Poker Masters Online, série High Roller com 30 torneios e US$ 15.250.000 garantidos. As disputas do Poker Masters, pela primeira vez nos feltros virtuais, acontecerão de 12 a 26 de abril.
Além das premiações referentes aos torneios, o campeão do Poker Masters Online receberá US$ 50 mil e uma jaqueta roxa, tradição do evento. É um costume semelhante ao que acontece no torneio Masters de golfe, no qual o campeão ganha uma jaqueta verde.

A série acontecerá online pela primeira vez devido a pandemia do COVID-19, doença causada pelo Coronavírus. Enquanto a maior parte do mundo fica em quarentena, as mesas do partypoker são a saída para dar continuidade às disputas.
Os buy-ins irão de US$ 10.300 a US$ 51.000. O evento mais caro será o Main Event, a ser realizado no último dia do Poker Masters Online. Ele terá uma premiação garantida de US$ 2 milhões.
